Holding of the Ordinary Session for October 2025

On Monday, October 20, 2025, in the main meeting hall of the Province of Zagora, the ordinary session of the General Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Drâa-Tafilalet Region was held, chaired by Mr. Mohamed Ansari, President of the Chamber, and attended by the members of the General Assembly, as well as the Regional Delegate of Industry and Trade, representatives of certain external services, and the administrative staff of the Chamber. This session was also marked by the presence of the Secretary-General of the Province of Zagora and the Vice-President of the Provincial Council of Zagora.

The President opened the session with a welcoming speech, expressing his pride in holding the session in the city of Zagora, commending the efforts of all economic and institutional actors in supporting regional development, and highlighting the importance of the Royal Speech on the occasion of the opening of the new legislative year, for its enlightened directives regarding investment promotion and achieving regional equity.

The President then presented the session’s agenda, consisting of five main points:

1️⃣ Approval of the minutes of the previous session in April 2025;

2️⃣ Approval of Amendment No. 2 to the Chamber’s Development Plan until December 31, 2026;

3️⃣ Approval of the revised budget for 2025, which allocated 2.6 million dirhams for the creation of a regional digital platform for the benefit of investors and traders;

4️⃣ Approval of a framework agreement for partnership and cooperation with the Provincial Council of Zagora;

5️⃣ Presentation by the Regional Delegation of Industry and Trade on the missions and role of the Regional Office for Foreign Trade in the Drâa-Tafilalet Region.

The session’s work proceeded in a spirit of discipline and responsibility, and all items on the agenda were approved.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a message of loyalty and allegiance was read and addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and preserve Him, praying to the Almighty to maintain His Majesty in health and well-being, to bless His vision with the presence of the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay El Hassan, and to support His brother, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, as well as all members of the noble Royal Family.
